IMDB:
A former spy relies on his old skills to save his estranged daughter, who has been forced into the slave trade.
This movie was badass. The fight scenes were pretty ownage and Liam Neeson fucking rapes bitches. Good action flick on many different levels.

Thanks Kold for recommending it!

Agree completely. Badass is the only word that adequately describes this movie.

It was a good movie but I felt Neeson's character was overly badass. He felt like a combination of MacGuyver and James Bond with the shit he was doing. Also, every single bad guy had complete Stormtrooper aim which bothered the fuck out of me. The action was good but it was a little over the top!

I felt they played him up a little bit too much in the beginning of the movie, when he was having dinner with his 3 ex-colleagues and they were like "oh like remember that time in Beirut where we killed 200 guys w/ a toothpick? that ruled!" I'd have preferred it if the movie was like 20 minutes longer in the beginning and maybe had a flashback scene to some badass mission he went on. That was just a very small gripe I had, overall I thought the movie was really good. At the end, when I saw it was only like 90 minutes, I was surprised, I thought it had been like 2+ hours.

Aus, you mean the conversation where they were making fun of him for flying home from Beirut to attend his daughters birthday and in fact NOT killing a single person?

But basically, the only thing that could be improved upon in this movie would be the addition of a cowboy hat on Liam Neeson's head.

So best movie so far, or can we move to vote this best movie of all time?

The fight scenes in Taken were really cool. Man on Fire as a whole though is better. I mean, Christopher Walken. C'mon.

I just wanted to point out although the movie was pretty entertaining, the fight scenes were a little over the top. Like when he's in the Yacht and the bad guy has a SMG and fires almost half a mag into a narrow hallway and misses Neeson. Talk about shooting fish in a barrel.

Also, I was pretty impressed with the portrayal of the Albanian guys, being born there I though it was pretty realistic :D.

Of course if Liam Neeson really did try to fight 10 of them in a small room he'd get his ass kicked :P
