looking to FINALLY upgrade from XP. Any suggestions on what to get (ultimate, etc) or where I can get it for free...lol

ordered. now i can play battlefield 3...this will be the first legal copy of a OS ive ever used.

Ever since late XP, it became more of a pain to pirate windows. It's just easier if shit works, and you usually get a good 4-5 years out of a windows os. Plus they were selling windows 7 pro/home/32/64 for like $30 to anyone with an .edu email address. They were the "upgrade" versions, but you could do a full, clean install off of them. Kinda hard to beat that.
