Are we....sure....this is real? It makes her walk funny.....but only forwards...? And it happens overnight? Wouldn't nerve damage that severe need serious physical trauma to exist, if not a condition present from birth? For that matter....a flu shot..? Really? Talk about over-hyping.

So basically....no...you're not sure ;)? I read through that wiki and all its adjacent parts, plus some other actual medical things and I don't really see anything to support the validity of the whole thing. I found nothing about the "can move backward normally" stuff, and the speed of the condition's onset seems extreme. Either way, at least one thing I'd say with surety is that it had nothing to do with the flu shot, and tabloid news jumped on a chance to sensationalize a fallacy.
