Are you worthy of being a US Citizen?

Post by Xyrm »

Here's some of the tougher questions given to individuals applying for citizenship in the civics exam. I got an 80%, which is the lowest you can get to qualify as passing. Latito got a 65%, and he's a freakin Candian. Lets see how well you do!

Do you have what it takes to become a citizen?
You answered 100% of questions correctly. Here's your rating:

85-100%: Welcome to the United States! (And, truth be told, you know more about this great land than most Americans.)

Easy.

Question 19 was kind of dumb, though. I took a 50/50 guess.

I got 70%

19 was stupid
why should I know 4 or 8? you would never need to know those off the top of your head

with any preparation, say like 5 minutes, you could get an easy 90-100 on this

Somehow I even knew what INS form you needed to become a naturalized citizen. I just got the "Give me liberty of give me death" quote wrong.

70%...not bad, considering some were guesses.

Some of these questions are so silly... The test should focus on law, how the government works, and other things you need/it would help to know to be a productive citizen, not 200 year old quotes more suited for Jeopardy questions.

That said, I got a 90%. Didn't know the quote or what form I needed to fill out.
