Resistance bands
Resistance bands
May be a shot in the dark here, but anyone ever used these and have any input as to which are good/bad and how effective.
Re: Resistance bands
My take-
Pros:
- Able to do lots of exercises with them
- Easy to travel with, especially good for when you are going to a hotel with no gym, or a really shitty one
- Very good for stretching out and warming up with
- I imagine they are good for yoga-type exercises, but I can't say I really do yoga
Cons:
- Kind of tough to get a lot of resistance for certain exercises to where it feels similar to free weight exercises (dumbells)
- Never really felt that natural to me for like full on workouts, more like a warm-up utility item

Re: Resistance bands
Yeah, they're groovy. They can turn calisthenics into a real ball-busting workout.
