Re: American Gods - Neil Gaiman
Hm, that sucks. American Gods and Neverwhere have been on my to-read list forever. I loved Sandman, but never read any of his books. I watched the first season of AG and it seemed interesting. Not sure how much of the appeal was watching Ian McShane ham it up

Re: A Game of Thrones
I lol'd. I also think it's hilarious that random GoT humor is finding its way into other shows. This week's Parks & Rec had Westeros on the list of places to move to that Andy made. There was another one in a show recently too, but I can't remember it now :/

So, totally random, innocent question.

Re: Homeland
Yeah, it started off so-so, but definitely got better. I like where the show seems to be going, though I hope they keep the twists tastefully spaced.
As for the chick, yeah, she definitely looks too much like her character in V, but I thought that was canceled?

Re: Skyrim
Fortunately the quests and immersion + story makes up for everything else, but holy shit why can't the game just be moderately challenging. I find myself in this situation a lot, and just have to kind of suck it up and enjoy the immersive aspects of the game at hand. Even hard games (or games on th...

Re: windows 7 64 bit
Ever since late XP, it became more of a pain to pirate windows. It's just easier if shit works, and you usually get a good 4-5 years out of a windows os. Plus they were selling windows 7 pro/home/32/64 for like $30 to anyone with an .edu email address. They were the "upgrade" versions, but...

Re: Batman: Arkham City
Yeah, I was kind of in the same boat as you about AC. I felt the first one had some cool ideas, and looked awesome, but was WAY too repetitive. I finally got around to playing the next two a few months ago, and I played them back to back, so my overall impression was that they got a lot better. The ...

Re: Batman: Arkham City
Yeah, I never played Arkham Asylum, but this looks pretty awesome. Unfortunately the PC release date is the same day as the new Assassin's Creed :/ Batman is cool and all, but AC: Revelations looks SICK.

Re: Star Wars: The Old Republic
It's been pretty fun so far. The voice acting is really good, and content is solid, though I haven't played any end-game stuff.

Re: Spartacus
You fuckin terrorist. But yeah, I'm more sad the Giants lost to the REDSKINS. Gonna be a long season... Ya no shit. Pretty sure I can classify my dad causing me to give a fuck about the Giants when I was a kid as child abuse. Wait, you know what sports are? I had you in the Justin category ("G...
